Die musikalische Reise von Marc „Micki“ Richter begann im Jahr 1994, als er sich von den legendären Klängen von Bands wie Guns N‘ Roses, Metallica und Nirvana inspirieren ließ und das Gitarrespielen für sich entdeckte.

Kurz darauf gründete er die Rockband Crossing Green und übernahm das Songwriting, Management und Booking.

Seine Leidenschaft für Musik führte ihn 2003 nach Hamburg, wo er erfolgreich den Popkurs unter Coaches wie Peter Weihe und Jane Camerford absolvierte, gefolgt von einer Tontechnikerausbildung in München

Im Jahr 2005 wagte Marc den Schritt in die Selbständigkeit und gründete seine eigene Musikschule, die „School of Rock“, wo er sein Können und seine Leidenschaft mit zahlreichen Schülern teilt, die von seinem Fachwissen profitieren.

Mit Bands wie LEAVES‘ EYES, ATROCITY, LIV KRISTINE, STONE THE CROW, EYES OF SOLACE, DIVERSION, BLACK MOUNT RISE und als „Hired Gun“ unter anderem für TARJA TURUNEN ist Marc weltweit auf Tourneen und Festivals wie dem Wacken Open Air und den 70000 Tons of Metal unterwegs.

Seine beeindruckende Arbeit als Komponist und Musiker fand zuletzt Anerkennung in der Produktion des Albums „Okkult III“ (2023) von ATROCITY, an dem er maßgeblich an den Kompositionen und Aufnahmen beteiligt war. Ebenso steuerte er zahlreiche Kompositionen zum Album „Myths of Fate“ (2024) von LEAVES‘ EYES bei und übernahm auch dort wieder das Recording der Gitarren und des Basses.

Im Jahr 2024 wurde er Bandmitglied bei EISBRECHER.

The musical journey of Marc „Micki“ Richter began in 1994 when he was inspired by the legendary sounds of bands like Guns N‘ Roses, Metallica, and Nirvana and discovered playing the guitar for himself.

Shortly thereafter, he founded the rock band Crossing Green and took on songwriting, management, and booking. His passion for music led him to Hamburg in 2003, where he successfully completed the Pop course under coaches like Peter Weihe and Jane Camerford, followed by sound engineering training in Munich.

In 2005, Marc took the step into self-employment and founded his own music school, the „School of Rock“, where he shared his skills and passion with numerous students who benefited from his expertise.

With bands like LEAVES‘ EYES, ATROCITY, LIV KRISTINE, STONE THE CROW, EYES OF SOLACE, DIVERSION, BLACK MOUNT RISE, and as a „Hired Gun“ for TARJA TURUNEN, Marc is on tour worldwide, performing at festivals like Wacken Open Air and 70000 Tons of Metal.

His impressive work as a composer and musician was last recognized in the production of the album „Okkult III“ (2023) by ATROCITY, where he was significantly involved in the compositions and recordings. He also contributed numerous compositions to the album „Myths of Fate“ (2024) by LEAVES‘ EYES and again took over the recording of guitars and basses there.

In 2024, he became a member of EISBRECHER.
